Sinick Family Dental
A Great Dentist

Technology has made a lot of things easier in life.

At Sinick Family Dental, we are committed to staying up to date on the latest technology so that we can offer you the best care possible. When we decide what technology to invest in, we look for what will make your experience as comfortable, successful, and efficient as it can be. Take a look at some of the technology that we have chosen for our practice and your comfort.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays have revolutionized dentistry. With traditional film x-rays, you have to wait for five minutes for the film to develop. Digital x-ray images will show up on the monitor in two seconds. This reduces the time you spend in the chair because you don’t have to wait for film to develop.

Every operatory in the office has a monitor and a TV so we can show you your x-rays right away. With digital x-rays, the radiation exposure is about half of what is needed for traditional film x-rays. This means less exposure and a safer environment for you!

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras are specialized digital cameras made to be used in the mouth. With intramural cameras, we are able to take pictures of your teeth as well as your soft tissues. You are then able to see your mouth the same way we can. It makes it much easier for you to understand what we are seeing and talking about.

Using the intraoral camera, we can take photos of teeth that we are “watching.” Using the digital image, we can see if things are changing and determine whether we need to go ahead with treatment or should continue to monitor the tooth.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

The days of wearing temporaries and the goopy impressions when you have a crown made are over. With the CEREC machine, we are able to take a digital impression (no goop!) of your tooth and design your crown on the computer while you watch.

We will then mill out your crown in our office, and you can walk out of the office with a new, permanent crown in two hours or less. Your time is valuable, and we know that. One-visit crowns help you spend less time away from your busy life.

Laser Dentistry

Lasers in dentistry have made complex periodontal procedures simple. With the laser, we are able to do the same procedures with less discomfort, less bleeding, faster healing, and easier recovery than traditional methods.

Entertainment During Your Visit

All operatories are equipped with flat screen televisions with DirecTV. This means that you can watch your favorite show during your visit! It is one thing that we have found really helps people to relax, especially children.

We also use the televisions to show you what we see, using digital x-rays and intraoral camera so you will be able to better understand your treatment.
