Sinick Family Dental Photo Scholarship

The $1000 scholarship is eligible to any senior Medina High School student. Each student can submit up to five digital photographs that will be considered. Five photographs will be selected to be displayed with the submitting student’s name in the office of Sinick Family Dental. In addition to being displayed in the office, photographs may be posted on Sinick Family Dental’s website and/or Facebook page. All submitted photographs should be suitable for display in a dental office. 

The theme for the photographs is “Around Medina.” The photos should be taken within and represent Medina County. The winner will be selected based on the following rubric. The displayed photographs can remain the property of Sinick Family Dental if they are still on display or will be returned to the student who submitted them after they were replaced by the next year’s submissions.

Students can apply for the scholarship from February 1st through February 20th by using the Medina City Schools Foundation’s central scholarship application. The information can be found at

In addition to the MCSF’s central application, students must submit digital images and essays to [email protected] for consideration.

Selection Process:

  • 50% Essay
  • 25% In office Patient Vote
  • 15% Office Staff Choice
  • 10% Social Media Vote
